How Pulleys Help You Do More Work


Pulleys are in use everywhere, even if you don’t see them. They’re in windows, elevators, and even sewing machines! They help us move things by redirecting the force applied to them.

Nobody knows when pulleys were invented but it’s believed they date back to Twelfth Dynasty in Egypt (1991-1802 BCE) and the early 2nd millennium BCE in Mesopotamia!
