Podcast and Blog

From July 2010 to July 2019, John Wilkerson published The Wired Homeschool and provided practical advice for homeschooling parents who used technology as part of their homeschooling. Topics included STEM education, responsible Internet use for families, and how to apply the use of digital devices and media to homeschooling.

In mid-2019, John decided to end this podcast after nine years. What remains is an archive of previous episodes and blog posts.

This blog is built on WordPress (self-hosted). It uses the Log Book theme.

The blog is hosted with Siteground. It is easy to use, reliable, and inexpensive. Podcast media hosting and stats are provided by Blubrry.

The podcast was recorded using an ATR-2100USB microphone, Bossjock Studio, and Audacity.

Other accessories used included an Apple Lightning to USB adapter, a Movo PM10 clip-on microphone, and a universal tripod mount for cell phones.
