Build a Gravity Car

When I was kid, my summers included building gravity cars. It was a rite passage and the competition with outer kids to build the fastest and best-looking race car kept us busy for weeks. If you don’t think you can design one on your own, here are a few projects to give you some ideas:

STEM or STEAM Categories

Kids engage in all the STEAM categories when building a soap box derby car. You can even throw in a little history lesson to teach them why its called a soap box derby are.
