The sale of e-books are outpacing the sale of hardbacks on Amazon. When you consider the average price of a hardback book is $26, it’s no wonder that many people are turning to e-books and e-readers.

What’s your favorite platform to read e-books?

Nice infographic! Such an interesting time now for the digital publishing industry compared to where we were just a few short years ago. We have these instant self-publishing machines (the Espresso Book Machine), we have your run-of-the-mills self-pubs, we have emerging e-publishers like Booktango, etc. Eager to see what will happen next!

Although it gets easier and easier to publish a book, that also means that unqualified people are writing books. ¬†We must be careful to make sure the books we’re getting as resources are from people qualified to write on the topic.
